Hoobie ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
What we collect
- Account information — email address, display name, and password (hashed, never stored in plain text)
- Content you create — workspaces, projects, boards, cards, notes, and file attachments
- Usage data — your theme preference and last visited page are stored in your browser's localStorage (never sent to our servers)
- Authentication cookies — session cookies managed by Supabase Auth to keep you logged in
What we don't collect
- We do not use analytics or tracking scripts
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties
- We do not serve ads
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to provide and improve the Hoobie service. Content you create is stored in our database (hosted on Supabase) and is only accessible to you and members you invite to your workspaces.
Cookies and local storage
- Essential cookies — Supabase authentication session cookies. Required for login to work.
- Local storage — theme preference and last visited page. Stored only in your browser, never sent to our servers.
Data retention
Your data is kept as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, which permanently removes all your personal data.
Your rights
Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to:
- Access — view all data associated with your account
- Correction — update your profile information at any time
- Deletion — permanently delete your account and all associated data
- Portability — request a copy of your data
Third-party services
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (their privacy policy)
- Vercel — web hosting (their privacy policy)
