Terms of Service

By using Hoobie ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Your Account

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service

Your Content

  • You own everything you create in Hoobie — workspaces, projects, cards, notes, and attachments
  • We don't claim any rights to your content
  • We store your content solely to provide the Service to you
  • You can delete your content or your entire account at any time

Storage & Usage Limits

  • Individual file uploads are limited to 10 MB per file
  • Free accounts have 100 MB of total attachment storage
  • Pro accounts have 5 GB of total attachment storage
  • Workspaces, projects, cards, and notes are not subject to storage limits
  • We reserve the right to adjust these limits with reasonable notice
  • Hoobie is not intended as a general-purpose file hosting service — attachments should be relevant to your projects

Acceptable Use

Don't use Hoobie to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Store or distribute malicious content
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Interfere with the Service's infrastructure or availability
  • Use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service

The Service

  • Hoobie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do our best to keep the Service available, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime
  • We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time
  • We'll give reasonable notice before making major changes

Account Termination

  • You can delete your account at any time from your account settings
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
  • When an account is deleted, all associated data is permanently removed

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hoobie and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, on the free tier, is zero).

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify users of significant changes via the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
